Greenland is not a member of NATO, but it’s part of the Kingdom of Denmark, a founding member of NATO.
As such, Greenland is indirectly included in NATO’s security framework through Denmark. So if Trump orders the U.S. military to invade Greenland, will we, as a NATO member, have our own troops fight themselves to protect Greenland?
What is different about a Trump takeover of Greenland from Vladimir Putin invading Ukraine?
Nothing — except our honor as a nation.

Yemen and Afghanistan
I agree that The Atlantic magazine editor Jeffrey Goldberg should never have been included in the Yemen attack plan text-messaging conversations.
The Trump administration should issue an apology. The situation should be rectified so that this kind of mistake never happens again, even if it means that somebody in the chain of command should be punished and even resign.
However, I don’t recall the Editorial Board calling for any resignations after President Joe Biden’s disastrous Afghanistan pullout, which resulted in the loss of American lives and equipment to the Taliban.
Instead, you hailed it as courageous and argued that Trump, in his first term, (here we go again) had put Biden in an untenable position. Why the double standard?

(Editor’s Note: We found no editorial that called Biden’s Afghanistan withdrawal “courageous.” We republished a St. Louis Post-Dispatch editorial in 2021 with which we agreed, criticizing the withdrawal and calling it “a humiliating defeat.”
Pathetically leaderless
The leaked Yemen military operation was a minor mishap compared to Joe Biden’s Afghanistan withdrawal debacle, failed open border policy and the many embarrassments during his term in the White House.
What liberals fail to acknowledge is that the Yemen operation was a success.
In the meantime, the hyperbole coming from Democrats is nothing but theater. It’s a smokescreen meant to distract Americans from their failed policies, rock-bottom poll numbers and pathetically leaderless party.

‘Unelected judicial tyrants’
Rise up, Americans.
Rise up, Americans. Awaken and demand that the government we elected take the reins of power and carry out the mandate our leaders were given.
It is time for them defy a government that is being usurped by unelected judicial tyrants.
Is this a government led by the President and Commander-in-Chief Donald Trump? Or is it led by Jeb Boasberg, an unelected U.S. District Judge, supported by a spineless, weak, worthless U.S. Supreme Court?
Rise up, America. Take to the streets. This cannot be tolerated. God bless U.S. Rep. Brandon Gill, Republican of Texas, who filed a bill to impeach Judge Boasberg (for his order blocking Trump’s mass deportation program).
Let us pray for quick passage and the judge’s swift impeachment. It may not be the normal process, but these are neither normal times nor normal actions by our government.
