It’s almost time to gobble, gobble: Here are Thanksgiving restaurant specials in South Florida

Be thankful you live in culinary paradise.

That means you don’t have to go into the kitchen and rattle those pots and pans for Thanksgiving dinner, if you don’t want to.

Maybe, as we get closer to the holiday on Thursday, Nov. 28, you’re just not feeling it. No judgment and no worries — Palm Beach and Broward counties are dining destinations with lots of food and  beverage options.

So to help you out, below is a roundup of restaurant specials for Turkey Day. Keep in mind that prices don’t include taxes and gratuities.

PALM BEACH COUNTY

The Addison of Boca Raton

The Thanksgiving service starts at 2 p.m. and is $150 for adults and $85 for children. There will be live music and kids’ activities as well as unlimited beverages. The food stations include appetizers, traditional side dishes, salads, kids’ meals (mac and cheese, chicken finger, fries) and a carving station with organic turkey, honey-baked ham and N.Y. strip steak.

This Italian restaurant at Mizner Park will have a Thanksgiving Day Buffet from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. for $65 per adult and $25 for children age 12 and younger. Highlights will include roasted turkey, honey-glazed ham, salmon and prime rib, oysters, shrimp cocktail, traditional sides and a variety of desserts.

Cósta Delray Beach

Working with local foragers, farmers and fisheries, Cósta is offering a farm-to-table Thanksgiving menu for pre-order, to be picked up the day before Thanksgiving (Wednesday, Nov. 27). The restaurant will be closed on Thanksgiving Day. Some of chef Coton Stine’s á la carte, entree and side options include:

  • Bio-Farm organic whole turkey marinated and rubbed down with holiday flavors and aromatics; 14 to 16 pounds; serves nine to 10 people ($135)
  • Local, wild-caught, stuffed vermillion snapper, pecan-encrusted local snapper with butternut squash bits, herbs, sea salt flakes and ghee ($16 per serving)
  • Butternut squash soup with coconut cream and a dill garnish; serves four ($18)
  • Side dishes, for four people, include Creamed Trumpet Green Beans, Mashed Potatoes (yukon and russet blend), Roasted Autumn Squash and Vegetables, Browned Butter Sugar Yams and more ($18 each)
  • Pumpkin pie ($23), pecan pie and apple pie ($32 each), Caw Cacao Pumpkin “Cashew” Cheesecake ($34)

ONA Coastal Cuisine

This oceanfront restaurant at the Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island Beach Resort & Spa will have service on Thanksgiving Day from noon to 5 p.m. with a carving station, chilled seafood station, sides, artisanal antipasto and desserts (mini pastries, traditional pies, tartlets, cakes) for $125 per adult and $40 for children age 4 to 12. Specific dishes from executive chef Ahin Bhattacharyya will include: Roast Turkey Breast with chestnut stuffing and cranberry sauce; Herb-Crusted Striploin; Peperonata Vegetables with Butternut Squash; Marinated Little Neck Clams; Green Lip Mussels and Penne alla Vodka.

Tulā

Tulā, the eatery at Amrit Ocean Resort that bills itself as a wellness restaurant, will have holiday season to-go dishes for up to four people that use nutrient-rich and immune-boosting ingredients, such as Stuffed Mushrooms ($78), Butternut Squash Soup ($63), Slow-Cooked Organic Turkey Breast ($119) and Roasted Root Vegetables ($23).

Abe & Louie’s

The Thanksgiving meal is $78 per person and starts with a choice of Lobster Bisque, Classic Caesar Salad, or the Abe & Louie’s Salad (with Boston Bibb lettuce, cinnamon apples, pistachios). The main course is Roasted Turkey (white and dark meat) with cornbread dressing, green beans amandine, cranberry relish, whipped potatoes and pan gravy. Dessert will be a slice of pumpkin pie with chantilly cream or a Warm Apple Crisp with vanilla ice cream.

NFL icon Joe Namath and business partner/longtime pal Charles Modica actually have three venues in one with Charlie & Joe’s: There’s Beacon, Lucky Shuck Oyster Bar & Taphouse and a rooftop tapas bar called Topside at the Beacon (closed for renovations until Thursday, Dec. 5).

  • Special craft cocktails are available throughout November. Beacon has Apple of My Eye (salted caramel apple martini) and Pass the Turkey (red berry sangria), both for $18 each. Lucky Shuck has a Pumpkin Spice Espresso Martini ($12) and Pumpkin Coquito ($10).
  • Love Street’s executive pastry chef Jenniffer Woo has prepared two pies to enjoy at home, each for $35. The apple pie is topped with autumn leaves made from flaky, buttery pie dough. The pumpkin pie is topped with crispy meringue, blood orange gel, vanilla whipped cream and dark chocolate maple leaves. Woo’s pies are available on a first-come, first-serve basis at Beacon from Nov. 25 to 27.
  • Lucky Shuck will serve Stuffed Turkey with andouille sausage and Key West pink shrimp, cornbread, sweet potato gratin, and Creole green beans ($32).
  • Beacon’s Thanksgiving menu will have an appetizer of a house-made Pumpkin Squash Agnolotti with roasted pine nut butter sauce ($24). The main course will be Oven-Roasted Turkey Breast served with a mushroom focaccia stuffing, garlic whipped potatoes, house-made cranberry sauce, sauteed shallots and green beans ($52). For dessert, there will be “The Pumpkin,” made with a pumpkin cheesecake mousse, charcoal graham cracker and cinnamon gelato ($18) and available throughout November.

Le Colonial

This French-Vietnamese restaurant will have a Thanksgiving meal for 10 people for $385.25 available for pick-up. Order must be placed by Monday, Nov. 18, and pickup will be the Tuesday and Wednesday before Thanksgiving (Nov. 26 and 27).

The package will include Lemongrass and Chili Roasted Amish Farm Turkey (12 to 14 pounds), Roasted Vidalia and Ginger Scented Turkey Jus, Le Colonial Signature Stuffing, Japanese Sweet Potato Casserole, Brussel Sprouts, Meyer Lemon and Yuzu Tart, Japanese Milk Parker Rolls and Orange Ginger Cranberry Sauce.

Farmer’s Table

This Midtown Boca Raton eatery will serve a three-course Thanksgiving menu from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. The prix fixe menu is $69.95 for adults and $29 for guests age 10 and younger.

  • Entree options will be Roasted Heritage Turkey, Grilled Salmon Fillet and Roasted Eggplant-Zucchini Lasagna.
  • The meal will include Housemade Bread Basket and a choice of Butternut Squash “Bisque” or Harvest Salad.
  • For dessert, there will be pumpkin pie, apple strudel or “Pecan Pie” Ice Cream Sundae.
  • There will also be Thanksgiving To-Go with à la carte menu items including turkey with all the sides and trimmings as well as pumpkin pie. Orders must be placed by Friday, Nov. 22.

Chef Sean Brasel will create exclusive specials alongside this Midtown Boca Raton restaurant’s regular menu highlighted by steaks and seafood. The Thanksgiving specials will range in price from $35 to $40 and include:

  • Sliced Turkey Leg Confit Roulade with pumpernickel stuffing, Grand Marnier demi sauce and miso roasted carrots
  • Yuzu Hibiscus Brined Roasted Turkey Breast with roasted butternut squash, cranberry marmalade, almond sauteed baby green beans and turkey sage gravy
  • Thanksgiving Mixed Grill with Cranberry Juice Brined Turkey Leg Roulade and Pistachio Crusted Lamb Chops with apricot mustard sauce
  • Pumpkin Tiramisu Cake paired with cocoa powder ice cream and coffee espuma ($19)

Throughout the month, Meat Market will offer a special cocktail for $25, the Smoked Maple Pecan Old Fashioned, with a blend of bourbon, pecan, maple and black walnut bitters.

BROWARD COUNTY

Daniel’s, A Florida Steakhouse

Daniel’s will serve a prix-fixe Thanksgiving menu from 2 to 8 p.m. priced at $135 per person. Guests may choose from appetizers including Poached Lobster Bisque and Creekstone Filet Mignon Carpaccio as well as entrees of Heritage Turkey or 28-Day Dry Aged Prime Rib. Side dishes will be Maple Glazed Brussels Sprouts with Pancetta, Creamed Corn and Potato Fonduta. Dessert options are Double Chocolate Cake, pumpkin pie and pecan pie.

Mom’s Kitchen Restaurant

Mom’s will be open regular hours for Thanksgiving Day, 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., and serving their breakfast and lunch menu along with Thanksgiving à la carte options. Starting at 10:30 a.m., there will also be a hot bar complete with honey-baked ham and turkey carving stations ($28 for adults, $18 for children age 12 and younger).

Sweet Aloha Ice Cream

  • Abiaka Wood Fire Grill: heritage turkey breast, chorizo, apple, cranberry poblano salsa, potato purée and roasted turkey jus ($45)
  • Cipresso: king crab cake appetizer served with an avocado puree and tomato-like bruschetta ($25) and an entree of braised and stuffed turkey duo served with mushrooms, sausage, kale and sweet potato puree ($39)

Chef Michael Mayer’s menu will include:

  • Selection (Antipasti) of Cured Assorted Salumi and Cheese
  • First course (Primi) of Lasagna al Forno di Melanzane, Nonna’s Sunday Gravy and Bucatini
  • Main course (Secondi) of Herb-Roasted Turkey breast with turkey leg confit, sweet potato mash, green bean casserole, sausage dressing and cranberry sauce.
