Woman shot to death outside apartment complex in North Lauderdale, deputies say

A woman was shot to death while standing outside of an apartment complex in North Lauderdale Monday evening, deputies say. No suspects have been identified.

A little before 7 p.m., Bryanna Nina was standing outside the complex in the 1000 block of Southwest 76th Avenue when unknown people got out of a dark-colored vehicle and began shooting at her, then fled, witnesses told detectives, according to a Broward Sheriff’s Office media release.

BSO deputies and North Lauderdale Fire Rescue responded to a call about the shooting. Paramedics found Nina with multiple gunshot wounds and transported her to Broward Health North, where she was later pronounced dead.

The release did not provide Nina’s age or city of residence, citing Marsy’s Law, a voter-approved amendment that allows crime victims to shield their names and personal information from the public.

BSO Crime Scene and Homicide Unit detectives are investigating the shooting.
