Def Leppard, REO Speedwagon and Train have announced upcoming summer concerts in South Florida, where their nostalgic anthems remain as popular as ever.
Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Def Leppard on Monday announced that they will squeeze their massive summer stadium tour into the intimate confines of Hard Rock Live at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood on Aug. 9.
Tickets will be available via a venue presale at 10 a.m. Thursday on the Hard Rock Facebook, X and Instagram pages. The presale password is ROCK. Ticket sales to the general public begin at 10 a.m. Friday at MyHRL.com.
In a concert that will include Journey and Cheap Trick, Def Leppard’s tour also will stop at Orlando’s Camping World Stadium on July 10. Tickets for that concert are on sale now, starting at $49.50+ at Ticketmaster.com.
As it has for more than 30 years, Def Leppard features Joe Elliott, Rick Savage, Rick Allen, Phil Collen and Vivian Campbell. For more information on the tour, visit DefLeppard.com.
Two other local favorites, REO Speedwagon and Train, also have set a South Florida stop on their summer co-headlining tour with a performance on Aug. 21 at iTHINK Financial Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach.
Produced by Live Nation, the 44-city tour will include special guests Yacht Rock Revue (highly recommended) as the opening act.
Tickets will be available first at 10 a.m. Wednesday with presales for Citi card holders and fans of the bands at SaveMeSanFrancisco.com (Train), REOSpeedwagon.com and YachtRockRevue.com.
The public ticket sale begins at 10 a.m. Friday at LiveNation.com.
