The Hurricanes lost one of their starting wide receivers to the transfer portal on Saturday afternoon.
Colbie Young, who spent two seasons at Miami, reportedly intends to enter the portal, according to an ESPN report.
Young was the Hurricanes’ No. 3 wide receiver this season. He ended the season with 47 catches for 563 yards and five touchdowns. In two seasons at UM, he racked up 930 yards and 10 touchdowns on 79 catches.
Young arrived in Coral Gables before the 2022 season, transferring from Lackawanna College. He was Miami’s leading wide receiver in 2022.
Young is the ninth Hurricane to enter the transfer portal this offseason and the second wide receiver, joining Frank Ladson Jr.
