Lanes closed after semi-trailer truck crash spills 10 gallons of fuel on I-95 in Broward

Three cars crashed on Interstate 95 in Broward County on Monday afternoon, including a semi-trailer truck which caused 10 gallons of fuel to spill onto the highway, according to Florida Highway Patrol.

The crash was reported shortly before 1 p.m. on south I-95, south of Hallandale Beach Boulevard, Lt. Indiana Miranda, an FHP spokesperson, said in an email. It is not immediately known how many people were involved or injured, but Miranda said all injuries were not life-threatening.

Involved in the crash were the semi truck, a Cadillac Escalade and a sedan.

Miranda said shortly after 2 p.m. that the left lane and express lanes are closed, and she did not have an estimate on when they would reopen.
