Four injured in Fort Lauderdale shooting after argument between groups, police say

Four people were injured in a shooting late Friday in Fort Lauderdale after an argument between two groups of people, police said.

The shooting happened shortly before 11 p.m. in the 3100 block of Northwest 19th Street. The four who were shot are expected to recover, Casey Liening, a Fort Lauderdale Police spokesperson, said in an email Saturday.

Some were taken to hospitals by fire rescue while some were taken by other people. Police have identified everyone who was involved in the incident and are investigating, Liening said.

The police department did not release additional details.
