One person died in a two-vehicle car crash in Pompano Beach on Sunday evening, the sheriff’s office said.
The crash happened at approximately 5:49 p.m. at the intersection of North Andrews Avenue and West Copans Road.
Broward deputies and Pompano Beach Fire Rescue responded to the crash site.
Paramedics had to extricate the vehicles’ occupants, who were taken to a hospital. One person was pronounced dead, according to the sheriff’s office.
Broward traffic homicide detectives are investigating the crash.
