HOLLYWOOD — Brightline trains from Fort Lauderdale to Miami were not operating Wednesday night after a crash between one of the company’s trains and a truck hauling cars in Hollywood.
The crash happened on the tracks at Dixie Highway and Washington Street some time between 5 and 7 p.m., said Officer Christian Lata, a spokesperson for Hollywood Police.
The truck was hauling multiple empty cars when the train crashed into it on the tracks.

No one was injured, Lata said.
A Brightline spokesperson said the truck was stopped on the tracks.
Additional information about the circumstances of the crash were not released Wednesday night.
