One killed, another injured in overnight shooting in Hollywood

One person is dead and another injured in an overnight shooting in Hollywood.

Just after midnight Thursday, police were called to the 2200 block of Fillmore Street where they found a dead man and another man with a gunshot wound. The second victim was taken to Memorial Regional Hospital. His condition is unknown.

Neither of the victims were identified on Thursday.

Deanna Bettineschi, a spokeswoman for the Hollywood Police Department, said one of the victims was found dead in a vehicle and the other was on the ground.

Police are asking anyone who may have any information about the suspects to come forward by calling the police department at 954-967-4636.
