North Lauderdale — Two people who deputies said were gunned down outside of a North Lauderdale apartment complex Wednesday morning have been identified on social media by those who knew them as a mother and her 15-year-old daughter.
The Broward Sheriff’s Office is not releasing further details about Andre Anglin, the man identified as the shooting suspect. But court records show the woman had filed for temporary injunctions in domestic violence cases against Anglin in February 2018 and April 2018.

The 32-year-old woman wrote in her petition that Anglin, who she identified as her husband and the father of her children, had threatened to kill her more than once, court records show.
“The reason I am seeking legal protection is because in the past we have had physical altercation[s] which make me not take his threat lightly,” she wrote in the petition. She wrote that in a fight with Anglin, he threatened he would have killed her if their children weren’t at the home, the record says.

The mother and daughter were shot to death at the Willow Woods townhomes development, where the woman lived.
The South Florida Sun Sentinel is not naming the victims because their identities have been withheld under Marsy’s Law, a constitutional amendment approved by voters in 2018 that allows crime victims to shield their name and personal information from the public.
“Y’all I’m gonna miss my friend… she had a contagious laugh, a welcoming spirit,” wrote one friend in a Facebook post Wednesday night. “KIND HEARTED!! And she gonna promote herself like the boss she was!!!! She was raised by a Queen and she was raising one!!!
“I can’t believe your [sic] not here anymore.. Your daughter too, she was a shinning light, you both were taken far too soon,” wrote another Thursday morning.
The Sheriff’s Office issued an arrest warrant for Anglin, 34, Wednesday and is asking the public for help in finding him. They do not have an address for Anglin but know he is frequently in the Margate area, deputies said.
Deputies ask anyone with information about where Anglin may be to call Det. John Curcio at 954-321-4212. Anyone who provides information that leads to an arrest may be eligible for a $5,000 reward.
