Rose Clarke, a 66-year-old woman from Hollywood, got off a Broward County bus in North Lauderdale about 8 p.m. and then tried to cross busy South State Road 7 in the 1400 block, north of McNab Road. She was not in a crosswalk, according to Broward Sheriff’s Office spokesman Carey Codd.
