COVID-19 in Florida: Hospitalizations up 43% in three weeks

Health experts say they are closely monitoring Florida’s increase in hospitalizations with the primary diagnosis of COVID-19. On Monday at noon, 2,898 people were hospitalized in Florida from the virus, an increase of 43% from just three weeks ago. The current hospitalizations represent an additional 121 patients hospitalized with the primary diagnosis of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours and an additional 869 patients since Oct. 18.
