“We feel almost like we have been forgotten,” said Kristen Knapp, a spokeswoman for the Florida Health Care Association, which represents nearly 600 long-term care centers. “We are talking about everything we are doing for hospitals. We don’t have stockpiles of this PPE (personal protective equipment). We don’t have isolation units, but we are caring for our most vulnerable. We need more supplies.”
