‘Jungle primary’ proposal, which would allow anyone to vote in a primary, is approved for Florida ballot

Justices, in a 4-1 decision, approved a proposed constitutional amendment that would allow registered voters to cast ballots in primary elections regardless of party affiliation. Under a so-called “jungle primary,” the two candidates getting the most votes would advance to the general election, even if they came from the same party.
