Broward County maintained its position as the state’s leader, with 36 of the state’s total of 136 cases. That led the Florida National Guard on Sunday to announce the activation of a task force to assist with the fight against the disease there. The guard’s medical task force, composed of all the guard’s medical professionals, will assist the state health department’s Broward County work.
