Two of the Italians are described in court documents as being a longtime couple, even though they separately married two Cubans. That Italian couple pleaded guilty to marriage fraud this October, being sentenced to time served and one year of supervised release, and three years of probation, respectively. The maximum penalty for marriage fraud is five years in prison.
