Weekend things to do: Day of the Dead, cocktail in a frozen pumpkin, beer for veterans in Boynton Beach

Due South Brewing Co., the veteran-owned brewery in Boynton Beach, recently released an amber ale called Land, Sea & Air to help raise funds for Wounded Veterans Relief Fund, a Lake Park organization that provides emergency financial support to disabled Florida veterans. A light, 4.5 ABV brew, Land, Sea & Air is available on draft and in six-packs in the brewery taproom, as well as local bars, restaurants and beer stores through Brown Distributing. It’s perfect for Veterans Day Weekend Nov. 8-11, and a portion of the proceeds from every keg and can sold will benefit the WVRF. “We’ve been working with the guys from Wounded Veterans Relief Fund for a few years,” Due South Brewing owner Mike Halker says. “As a vet myself, it’s a very meaningful relationship.” Visit DueSouthBrewing.com.
