As South Florida tourist season nears, hospitality workers are in short supply

In South Florida, Palm Beach County is the biggest user of the H-2B program, which helps shore up their workforces at hotels, clubs and resorts. For the upcoming season, 61 hotels, clubs and resorts in the county have applied for a total of 2,777 visa applications, according to CareerSource Palm Beach County. That included Mar-a-Lago, President Trump’s resort on Palm Beach, which made 80 visa applications, according to data reported to CareerSource Palm Beach County.
