Crews recently built sound barriers, painted the lanes and began testing new digital signs between Commercial Boulevard and Southwest 10th Street. The signs will be covered until the state is ready to implement tolling in 2024, or possibly sooner. Overnight, crews have been widening all of the bridges over I-95 between Boca Raton to Hollywood. Wider bridges will accommodate the new roadway and the more than 350,000 vehicles that travel on I-95 in Broward County daily.
