May is Military Appreciation Month and one South Florida company is doing its part to offer free haircuts to all active duty military and veterans.
Beauty Anatomy Institute of Cosmetology and Wellness, a Pompano Beach-based private school that offers courses in barbering, cosmetology, facials, instructor training, massage therapy and nails, is offering free haircuts on Thursdays throughout May to active duty military and veterans with a valid ID.
“As a Blue Star Mother of an active Marine, I am proud to be a part of Beauty Anatomy where we recognize and appreciate the sacrifices made by our veterans and the our active duty personnel,” said Beauty Anatomy Institute assistant director Roseann Terrill.
“This give back is the least we can do to show our continued support. Each of them are an amazing bunch of men and women who make us proud to be American and keep us safe around the globe daily.”
The free services are available every Thursday in May from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. by appointment only. Call 954-972-0635.
“Our students and instructors enjoy giving back and being able to provide free haircuts for those who help others,” said Beauty Anatomy Institute founder Octavia McDougle.
