Two sisters were killed in a shooting in Northwest Miami-Dade on Sunday, according to WSVN-Ch. 7.
Police say the suspects started firing from outside a vehicle, killing the two women and wounding another man and woman near Northwest 19 Avenue and 60 Street.
A relative said the two sisters were in their 20s and from Broward County, the news station reported.
“They came to visit somebody, en route to have fun for the night, and I heard that they were shot and killed, so it’s crazy,” a man who claimed to be the women’s cousin told a Ch. 7 news reporter.
“They not even from around this area, and they go pick up a friend or see a friend, one of the two, and end up getting shot and hit in the crossfire. Somebody shooting recklessly or shooting at somebody or whatever, and two sisters are gone tonight.”
Shell casings remained scattered at the scene on Sunday.
