Two people were injured Sunday at 5:20 a.m. in a possible hit-and-run involving two vehicles at Commercial Boulevard and Rock Island Road in Tamarac.
Rescue crews transported one person to Broward Health Medical Center with serious injuries, said Joy Oglesby, a spokeswoman for the Broward Sheriff’s Office. The second person was taken to Broward Health North for treatment.
Scant details were available Sunday afternoon hours after the crash.
“The call came in as a hit-and-run, and the driver was not on scene,” Oglesby said. “The investigation is still ongoing.”
Oglesby did not have details on the types of cars involved, names and ages of the injured or what might have caused the accident.
