The U.S. Coast Guard called off its search Thursday for a woman who was reported overboard a Holland America ship that had sailed out of Port Everglades. The 77-year-old woman was reported overboard the Nieuw Statendam, which sailed from the Fort Lauderdale port Dec. 27 and was due back on Jan. 3, at the end of its seven-night Eastern Caribbean itinerary.
