Kekoa restaurant brings Hawaiian food (by way of Venezuela) to West Boca

On the right is a Loco Moco ($16), which is a traditional breakfast dish in Hawaii consisting of white rice and macaroni salad and three made in-house Angus beef burger patties and topped with shiitake gravy, a fried runny egg and green onions. On the left is an ala bowl ($11), one of the build a bowl offerings. This one has a base of sticky brown rice and stir fry noodles with teriyaki beef. The mix-ins are wakame seaweed salad, mango cubes and edamame and the toppings are sesame seeds and crispy quinoa. (Kekoa / Courtesy)
