
Broward school administrators last month ordered 55 books removed from its libraries, based on concerns raised by the State Board of Education that the books may be pornographic or have sexually explicit passages that are inappropriate for minors.
The move is the latest in a statewide effort to ban certain materials from school libraries. Other school districts in the state are removing these same books.
