Lionel Messi is a superhero to many — now it’s official.
The global soccer icon and Inter Miami star is re-created in a new Captain Messi toy and retail collection now available at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood and other Hard Rock properties worldwide.
Messi introduced the instantly collectible figure, his first involvement in a toy in his likeness, on Tuesday night in an unveiling event at Hard Rock Cafe in Hollywood.
The figure depicts Messi encased in a robotic, Ironman-style uniform in Inter Miami’s pink and black, kicking a ball propelled by flames shooting from his foot.
Captain Messi will come free with any Hard Rock Messi Kids Meal order at a Hard Rock Cafe or in-room dining at Hard Rock Hotels around the globe.
Purchased separately, the toy costs $9.95 and is part of a selection of Captain Messi-branded items available in the hotel chain’s Rock Shops.
