The public would be blocked from accessing photos, video or audio involving the killing of a victim of mass violence, under a measure advancing in the Florida Senate. Third person charged in Lauderdale Lakes killing

A third person has been charged in the shooting death of a Margate man. A Broward Grand Jury has indicted Kizzie Thomas, 20, for the murder of Dean Hyatt, 20. She joins Richard Michael Cunningham, 19, of Fort Lauderdale, and Kemarley Wilson, of Lauderhill, who were both arrested and charged within weeks of the murder, records showed. Shooter seen, gunfire heard as security system records drive-by shooting

The volley of shots can be heard on a home’s security surveillance system as a gunman gets out of a car and begins pumping bullets. Police Tuesday circulated the video of the drive-by shooter who fired more than a dozen shots at a home on the 7700 block of Meridian Street in Miramar shortly after 5:45 p.m. on Feb. 10.
