A person was killed after a car crash with a Broward Sheriff’s Office deputy late Monday night in Tamarac while the deputy was investigating a reported stolen car. An armed man who was shot and killed by Fort Lauderdale police officers on Saturday has been identified. Luis Felipe Londono Ospina, 43, of Fort Lauderdale, approached police officers with a gun and was shot while they were responding to a verbal dispute that had no connection to him, according to Police Chief Bill Schultz.
