Forecasters said that although Monday has been wet and blustery in South Florida, with more than 2 inches of rain falling in some areas, the remainder of the week will be drier, and the nicer weather should extend into the weekend.
“For the middle of the week we’re looking at a break from all this rain,” said National Weather Service meteorologist Anthony Reynes. “There’s higher pressure coming in. Tuesday is looking like the better day, with very few showers and more sunshine.”
Wednesday and Thursday will a bit more summery, said Reynes, with scattered showers through the afternoon. But the weekend should see even drier air moving into the region.
The high pressure with drier air should start Monday night and stay with us through the end of the week, Reynes said.
