Yes, El Car Wash, which has more than 40 South Florida locations, has jumped on the pumpkin spice bandwagon.
“Our team loves finding ways to surprise and delight our members, and adding a pumpkin spice scent inside the wash tunnel felt like a fun, sensory way to celebrate fall,” El Car Wash.spokeswoman Carly Klein said. “We know we’re not the only ones embracing pumpkin spice season, but at El Car Wash, we like to think we’re doing it right by bringing that fall feeling to life in a way that’s uniquely ours.”
The scent is included with every wash, upon request, at all locations throughout October.

So, how do they pump that pumpkin spice into your car?
“We use light, water-based scents in the rinse stages of the wash to bring a pleasant fragrance inside the vehicle,” Klein said.
But be sure to set your vehicle’s air conditioning to fresh air circulation because “as the car moves through the tunnel, outside air passes through your vehicle’s vents. That air picks up a trace amount of fragrance mist, giving the interior a clean, fresh scent,” she said.
“It’s non-oily, biodegradable and safe for all vehicle interiors and exterior finishes. Nothing sticky or greasy is applied to the inside or outside of your vehicle. The scent naturally fades within a few hours.”
Not a pumpkin spice fan? El Car Wash is planning to incorporate more seasonal scents for a festive feel to each wash, Klein said.
