Man, child hospitalized after domestic shooting in Pembroke Park, officials say

A man and a girl were hospitalized after a domestic-related shooting in Pembroke Park on Wednesday night, according to police and fire rescue officials.

The shooting happened shortly after 8 p.m. in the 3100 block of West Hallandale Beach Boulevard, Broward Sheriff’s Office Fire Rescue Battalion Chief Michael Kane said. Kane said there are “several other victims” but could not say how many or provide any of the victims’ conditions.

Evan Ross, a spokesperson for Pembroke Park Police, also said there were multiple victims and that the shooting was domestic. There is no threat to the public.
