Rodent droppings at 3 mall food spots, ‘strand of hair’ in tomatoes at sub shop: 8 South Florida restaurants shut

A rodent dropping infestation at three eateries inside Sunrise’s Sawgrass Mills mall, a takeout spot selling raw conch salads with no parasite destruction records, and a sub shop thawing cooked chicken in “stagnant water” were among the violations that temporarily closed eight South Florida restaurants last week.
