Todd Bonlarron, Palm Beach County’s assistant county administrator, said he’s not aware of a blanket state directive that prohibits counties from vaccinating jail inmates. Palm Beach County has asked to vaccinate inmates, migrant farmworkers and other vulnerable groups, but authorization has not been given by the state, he said.
