Free ticket alert: ‘Bridgerton’ author coming to NSU to talk ‘Queen Charlotte,’ career

Here’s the hot tea: Julia Quinn, bestselling author of the Bridgerton Series, is coming to the Rose & Alfred Miniaci Performing Arts Center at Nova Southeastern University in Davie from 3 to 5 p.m. Sept. 10 to talk about her writing career, including her latest book, “Queen Charlotte.”

Yes, dearest readers, here’s your chance to hear from the creator of the characters who captivate us (we see you, Duke of Hastings!) in her books and on our TV screens in the original Netflix series and prequel spin-off based on them.

But make haste because reservations for free tickets to the event will be available starting at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 25. Go to libguides.nova.edu/jq and click on “Ticket Link.”

Our prediction: They’ll be scooped up faster than Lady Whistledown’s Society Papers.

While “Bridgerton” season 3 filming reportedly wrapped back in March, no release date has been announced. But maybe Quinn will share some teasers for her fans at her talk? Her loyal subjects can only hope.

The evening is presented by the NSU Alvin Sherman Library and the Rose & Alfred Miniaci Performing Arts Center, which is at 3100 Ray Ferrero Jr. Blvd., Davie.
