With an uptick in COVID-19 infection numbers, a steady line of about 50 cars wait to be tested for the virus on Thursday, July 22, 2021, at Mills Pond Park in Ft. Lauderdale. The Ft. Lauderdale drive-thru location is one of only two public COVID-19 test collection sites that the Florida Department of Health in Broward (DOH-Broward) operates. The other site is a walkup site at the Boulevard Heights Community Center in Hollywood. (Mike Stocker/South Florida Sun Sentinel)
