Through optional training offered by school districts and nonprofits, South Florida teachers learn ways to infuse Holocaust studies into almost any class, including civics, math, literature and physical education. In science, they can learn about Hitler’s abuse of genetics to promote his racial theories. In physical education, students can learn how many calories are essential for living and how Europeans sent to concentration camps were starved.
