A Florida-based company that specializes in cleaning up grisly crime, death and injury scenes is doing what many other companies in 2019 are also doing: using the photo-sharing app Instagram as a marketing tool.
But there aren’t many companies posting the kinds of images that Spaulding Decon does. Blood-stained floors, blood-spattered walls and other scenes of carnage are the norm on the company’s Instagram, which has amassed over 110,000 followers since it was created three years ago, the Tampa Bay Times reports.
The Tampa-based company, founded by former Kansas City police detective Laura Spaulding in 2005, only posts images of death scenes after the bodies have been removed. As well, clients’ anonymity is protected, according to the Times.
“We clean up life’s accidents,” reads the text on the company’s website.
