Armed robber poses as UPS delivery man

Detectives have released a sketch of a man who posed as a UPS delivery man to rob a Pompano Beach woman at gunpoint late last month. Broward Sheriff’s Office detectives said a man who identified himself as a UPS delivery man knocked on the door of the woman’s home Feb. 27 and told her that he needed her to sign for a package. As soon as the woman opened the door, the man pulled out a gun, so she shoved him away and began to scream for help in her front yard. The man ran to his car to leave, but Claudia Kretzer heard her neighbor screaming and came outside to see what was happening. That’s when the man wrestled Kretzer to the ground and stole her phone before driving away in a gray Dodge Charger. During the struggle, the man dropped two packages in the yard. Detectives said one box was empty, but the second contained eight zip ties and a roll of duct tape. Anyone who recognizes the man is asked to call detectives at 954-321-4249. …read more Source: WPLG Local News...
